A weathered summit cross, its shaft marked with stickers and scratched graffiti and its centre set with an ironwork rosette, rises from the lower left corner into an unbroken depth of blue. Behind it stand rounded conglomerate pinnacles fringed with scrub, their gullies dark against sunlit stone. Hard high sun rakes the rock from the left and leaves the metal of the cross in flat silhouette, while the sky deepens from pale haze at the ridgeline to near-ultramarine overhead.
