Privacy

The personal data described here is held by DistanceWeb, LLC, doing business as Gaze & Glory.

• Your email address. To send order confirmations and dispatch notices, and to let you sign in to see past orders.
• Your name and shipping address. To have the piece made and delivered. Saved addresses are kept so you do not have to retype them.
• Your order history. So you can see what you bought, and so we can answer questions about it.
• Whether you asked for marketing email. To send it only if you asked, and to stop when you say stop. Recorded with the date you agreed.

We do not hold your card number. Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page and the card details never reach this site.

Only the companies that have to, to get a piece made and sent to you. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

• Stripe, payments. Name, email, billing and shipping address, and card details. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach this site's servers. Their privacy policy.
• Prodigi, printing and fulfilment. Name, shipping address, and the details of what was ordered. So the piece can be made and posted. No payment details. Their privacy policy.
• Resend, email delivery. Email address and the contents of order and dispatch emails. Their privacy policy.
• DigitalOcean, hosting and storage. Everything the site stores, as the provider of the servers and database it runs on. Their privacy policy.

We send marketing email only to people who asked for it, and we record the date you asked. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and using it stops them. You do not need to write to anybody or explain yourself.

Order confirmations and dispatch notices are not marketing and are sent whether or not you have opted in, because they are part of the thing you bought.

Order records are kept for as long as we may need them for accounting and tax; seven years is the usual requirement. An email address held only for marketing is deleted when you unsubscribe.

Write to [email protected] and ask. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it within 30 days.

Deleting everything means losing your order history and any saved addresses, and we may have to keep the bare record of a completed sale where the law requires it. We will tell you exactly what was kept and why.

This site sets a cookie to keep you signed in, and Stripe sets its own during checkout to process the payment and detect fraud. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking here.
