My name is Scott C. Johnson, and I call Colorado home, where the incredible landscapes and abundant wildlife provide endless inspiration for my photography.

I've been passionate about photography for more than 20 years and have been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many remarkable destinations throughout the world. Those experiences have allowed me to photograph diverse landscapes, cultures, and wildlife, continually expanding both my skills and my appreciation for the beauty of our planet.

While I've photographed a wide variety of subjects over the years, I discovered a special passion for wildlife photography about three years ago. It has challenged me in ways I never expected—and that's exactly what I love about it.

Unlike landscapes, wildlife doesn't wait for the perfect moment. Animals don't stop to pose, and every encounter is unique. Successful wildlife photography requires understanding animal behavior, anticipating movement, working with ever-changing light, and composing an image in an instant. Every photograph is the result of patience, preparation, and respect for the animals and their natural environment.

Whether I'm photographing a majestic eagle, a grazing elk, or the breathtaking beauty of Colorado's mountains, my goal is to create images that tell a story and capture the wonder of the natural world.
